Planning the Design... to Moving In
It’s officially MOVE-IN DAY!!! I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this crazy journey so far and that our move-in day has finally arrived!
As you know (because I cannot shut up about it 😂), I am moving in with Johnny and we have been planning this apartment for months (okay, more like Adnan and me, though Johnny has such good taste and approved the color scheme beforehand 😉).
My former blog posts about this move share all about why we wanted to be in NYC, who our interior designer is, our inspiration for the apartment, and our best apartment hunting tips… so now I wanted to follow up with the scheme boards our designer, Adnan, created for us so we could envision how everything would go together.
You can take a look at them below, as well as all of the links to everything! I know I won’t be able to help but share peeks of everything as we move in, so hopefully this can be a helpful resource if you’re looking for the details or links to anything before I photograph it and share it all here. Also, we’re bound to shift and move things around a million times, so don’t be surprised if you see one item in one room and then moved around a day later!
Also, I wanted to share a little caveat in that at the end of the day this is all just a bunch of stuff, and though it’s been fun to dream up and put together, I’m honestly just thankful that I finally get to live with Johnny, and we have this opportunity to work in the same city as each other, our siblings, and some of our very best friends. 💗 xx
