Blog Breakfast in Bed!

Good morning and happy February 1st everyone!! I am so looking forward to February because of my upcoming vacation (6 days and counting…), Valentines Day (the only holiday dedicated to my favorite color…) and a ton of fun sorority events! So what better way to start this month than with a blog breakfast in bed party with a ton of bloggers I’m finally getting to know?!

Dorothy, from Prep in Your Step, is hosting this event. Her blog is absolutely adorable and perfectly preppy, so I am beyond excited to be included! She asked each blogger if we could post a few pictures on our respective blogs of us enjoying a lazy Saturday morning while eating breakfast in bed! Scattered throughout this post you’ll see the questions that Dorothy suggested we all answer about ourselves!

What is the first thing you do on a lazy Saturday morning?

After snoozing my alarm at least three times I gradually remove myself from my cocoon-like bed and search for my glasses. Then I make my way downstairs to my kitchen and head straight for the Keurig coffee maker and wait impatiently for it to work. In the summers, my mom and I have coffee on our front screened-in porch, which is always the best start to any day.

I also tend to check my messages from the night before and send out a few snap chats of me still in my pjs, retainer and all… (you’re lucky if you’ve ever gotten one of those!) Also, Pinterest or any kind of reading is a nice way to ease into a busy day!

What would your ideal breakfast be, don’t forget the coffee?!

Doughnuts, omelets, toast, fresh fruit, a skinny vanilla latte from Starbucks… I really could eat it all. I love breakfast food anytime– give me a breakfast buffet and I’m there.
On this day, I had a pink doughnut, raspberries with banana slices, and a vanilla coffee.

If you could have woken up this morning and been anywhere, where would it be?

I’m going to be really idealistic here and say a mega yacht in the British Virgin Islands (a girl can dream). But I would “settle” waking up anywhere with sunshine and a beach. Any island is fine by me, really.

{And just for fun} What is your favorite instagram filter?

Valencia; it makes all my pictures so bright! I think it’s the happiest filter.

Details: Pajamas: J.Crew {similar} // Slippers: J. Crew // Bedding: Anthropologie {similar} // Mint pillow: Anthropologie // Monogram pillow: Etsy {similar} // Mug: Anthropologie // Doughnut: local Dunkin Doughnuts

I do consider all of the ideas you have introduced to your post.

They are really convincing and can definitely work.
Still, the posts are too short for starters. May just you please lengthen them a bit from
subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

I was just looking for this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative sites in top of the list. Normally the top websites are full of garbage.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

Howdy would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re using? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good hosting provider at a honest price? Kudos, I appreciate it!
